Working on something special. What’s Tim so angry about?
About
“It is better to fail magnificently than to succeed narrowly.” -Captain Go, "Fightin’ Words"
The GoNauts sprang from the sordid, broken mind of Parker Wrenn during a rousing game of Dungeons & Dragons in 2008. The idea stewed in mental limbo until 2010, when he and the deranged Kyle Torneby decided to use it as an outlet for their unchecked rage against the world, themselves, and the pretense and pedantry of art school. The series takes its namesake from the main characters, a group of third-rate fantasy adventurers who struggle to forge a livelihood in the highly regulated career of professional questing. They are comprised of Captain Go, the enigmatic construct tactician; Svaltvinter Odemarken, the aging seaman alcoholic; Victor “Vic” Charles, the proud paladin and notorious coward; Kaevin, the energetic and multi-untalented bard; and Tim, the magical college drop-out and novice adventurer. As they seek glory and riches throughout the dangerous and ridiculous land of Overworld, their perpetual failure occasionally leads them to limited success.
